And then I broke it
Ah! I was doing great on editing this page, making things work, so on and so forth. I even got the contact me form working! It was going great! I was getting ready to start doing fine details like linking to social media pages and building out the pages about my books! And then, I somehow managed to disconnect my “Blogging Away” post from the template I had finished perfecting, and I can’t get them to link again. For some reason, it won’t give me the option to select all of my templates, only some, and that one is not on the list. Boo!
This seems like a problem for tomorrow-me. Not like anyone is visiting here yet, anyway. But if I can relink that page to the template and figure out how to make the search bars with with black text instead of black with white text, this place will be in pretty good shape. I feel like this is a super easy fix, but I’ve tried every color section both editing in the code and in the preview style, and WordPress is just set on black with white for some reason. I’m beginning to remember why I went into a different field despite studying web design in college…
